During the 2nd war a private school called Miss Olivers was evacuated from Aberdeen the the large pile called Blelack House. (See attachment for a poor side view, front view is quite impressive: I have better but can't find them.) Mother was the cook in the school at this time. This was just 400m down the road from Rose Cottage where father, who was owner of Blelack estate lived. That is how they came to meet.

Kenneth Ingram Lawson was educated training as an engineer. He was born in 1878. He was in a photograph; This is the original photograph from which the principal image for JB Lawson was created. This image was photocopied and an unknown person indicated on the copy who the persons were.2 He was a whisky merchant who, with brother Frederick, took over his father's, J B Lawson's, whisky business when JB died in1905.
